Rules pinned to the committee board

1. The committee at the trestle

These rules cover your use of coconutshygreen.com (“Coconut Shy Green”, “we”, “us”), which is run by the operator of coconutshygreen.com. Playing on the site means you agree to them.

2. Who may come through the rope

Coconut Shy Green is for people aged 18 or over and nobody else. By playing you confirm you are 18 or over.

3. Fete coins

• Each stall is played with virtual coins that the fete gives away free of charge.
• Fete coins have no monetary value and count as neither money, credit nor property.
• Coins cannot be bought, sold, withdrawn, transferred or swapped for money, goods, services or prizes. The fete has no in-app purchases.
• No prize of real-world value is put up at any stall.
• The committee may adjust or reset coins, levels and features whenever it needs to.

4. No stakes in real money

Coconut Shy Green will not offer real-money gambling or advertise it, and no gambling operator is linked from any stall.

5. Entry cards (accounts)

• Beyond the open stall, Kite Peg Picnic and Oompah Pavilion each need a free account. Each person may hold one account, and no one else may use it.
• Keep your password to yourself. Should someone else get into your account, tell the fete office at once.
• You can delete your account whenever you choose from your account page. It goes at once and cannot be brought back.
• The committee may suspend an account that is used to upset the site, or one it believes is held by someone under 18.
• Coins, levels and missions sit on the account, never become your property and can be reset.

6. Behaving at the fete

No attempts to upset the site, no bots or automated tools aimed at it, no offers to trade coins, and no handing it over to anyone under 18.

7. Rained-off afternoons and liability

The site is offered “as is”. The committee may alter or withdraw any part of it. A malfunction voids all plays and pays. These terms do not limit any liability that by law cannot be limited, and they leave your statutory rights untouched.

8. English law on the village green

English law, as applied in England and Wales, governs these terms.
